St Ives Harbour Beach runs along the main beachfront area of St Ives. It is located in the town’s harbour, sheltered by the thick harbour walls – making it perfect for when it is a little bit breezy on some of the other beaches.
When the tide goes out it reveals a lovely sandy beach which is an ideal safe spot for kids to go swimming and build sand castles.
This isn’t a huge beach compared to others in St Ives, but it’s close to the town cafes and ice cream parlours, so it’s easy to grab a takeaway and sit on the beach!
Please note: Dogs are welcome on this beach except between the 1st July and the 31st August (10am – 6pm) when a seasonal dog ban is in place.
