St Ives Station serves St Ives town and seaside resort and it was opened for public use in 1877.
There is only one platform at the station and services run to St Erth where trains run on the Cornish Main Line and during the day two trains run per hour, one of which stops at Carbis Bay. The last train of the day runs to Penzance.
It is only a 12-minute ride from St Erth Park & Ride to St Ives but the views from the train window are fabulous.
Sit on the right-hand side of the train if you can and you will be rewarded with panoramas of beautiful turquoise waters and sandy beaches.
